Last October, the Vietnamese car enthusiast community stirred with the image of a red Ferrari F8 Spider appearing on the streets of Hanoi. The convertible supercar quickly became one of the biggest names in the speed village.
Recently, more information has appeared again that another Ferrari F8 Spider is on the way to Vietnam. The car was brought back by a private enterprise specializing in importing supercars in Saigon. Thus, as soon as it docks, this will be the third Ferrari F8 Spider convertible to return home.
As revealed, the upcoming Ferrari F8 Spider supercar is a white version, not in contact with both previous cars (Gallo Modena yellow and Rosso Corsa red). The price for this ‘monster’ is expected to be about 21 billion dong, excluding the costs incurred before it is officially rolled.
Ferrari F8 Spider also belongs to the Ferrari F family, whose brother has a somewhat similar design, the Ferrari F8 Tributo model. The difference between these two cars comes from the fact that the hardtop on the Ferrari F8 Spider can open/close the roof in 14 seconds through a button located inside the cabin. The engine cover on the Tributo is transparent, with the Spider being the sealed lid.
Regarding the design of the car, the luxury, power and attractiveness is undisputed. F8 Spider has the characteristics of a supercar with an air intake with a design inspired by F1 racing cars. The designers have worked hard to create even the smallest details but also improve the aerodynamics of the car. The force that the Ferrari F8 Spider puts on the road will be increased by 15%, making driving at high speeds even more efficient.
The Ferrari F8 Spider is about 70 kg heavier than the hardtop variant, the Ferrari F8 Tributo, but still 20 kg lighter than the elder Ferrari 488 Spider. This supercar uses a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 720 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. According to the company’s announcement, the car only takes 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km / h and reaches a maximum speed of 340 km / h (with the roof closed).
