Gasoline prices today in the world: Closing the last session of the week on June 13, according to Vietnam time, WTI crude oil price stood at 70.81 USD/barrel, up 0.74% compared to the previous session. Brent crude oil price for August delivery also increased 0.1% to 72.59 USD/barrel.
As can be seen, crude oil prices rose on the weekend for many years of weekend trading thanks to an improvement in the global demand outlook as Covid-19 vaccination rates.
The rollout of a COVID-19 vaccine in North America as well as Europe is helping to restore demand for fuels, including kerosene, as travel restrictions are curtailed. Moreover, deploying the vaccine at the same time as OPEC + controls production, thereby helping to boost oil prices, said an expert from Lipow Oil Associates in Houston.
Many analysts also expressed their optimism when pointing to the return of road traffic to pre-Covid-19 levels in North America and some countries in Asia, which is becoming a positive signal for the market. This pushed crude oil prices up sharply.
